Leigh Anne Duck
Leigh Anne Duck is Associate Professor of English at the University of Memphis, where she is a faculty affiliate of the Benjamin Hooks Institute for Social Change, the Center for Research on Women, and the Women's Studies Program. Her research focuses on the literature and culture of the southern U.S., particularly literary modernism, racial segregation and the Civil Rights Movement, representations of the Great Depression, and transnational interactions. Her book The Nation's Region: Southern Modernism, Segregation, and U.S. Nationalism, was published in 2006.
